Tanzania Cultural Tours is an 8 days safari best designed for those who appreciate culture by interacting with the local people, as well as taking some adventure away from the usual game drives.

Day 1: Transfer

Tanzania Cultural Tours commences once you arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and greeted by our representative and be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. You will be briefed about the itinerary thereafter have an overnight at your hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

Main Destination: Arusha

Day 2: Arusha – Manyara National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, Tanzania Cultural Tours will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic. Lake Manyara is famous for the tree-climbing lions that inhabit it. The lions climb tree for vintage point during hunting, as well as avoiding the wet grounds. Enjoy the game drive at the park as you also tour the salt water lake with its flamingos. Later on depart to the town of Mto wa Mbu, a center that offers various markets where you can find all kinds of plant foods, dried fish, chickens, pots for kitchen as well as a multitude of souvenirs such as wood carvings, masks, batics, kangas among other items. Proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Day 3: Karatu – Lake Eyasi – Karatu ( Bushmen tribes visit and Datoga )

On this day our Tanzania Cultural Tours lead us ??Lake Eyasi and visit the Datoga in their village and Hadzabe people interact with them as they train you on hunting as well as learn their ways. Enjoy your lunch and later on depart to Karatu to your camp / lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board.

Day 4: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

Depart to Serengeti National Park after breakfast, passing Conservation Area Nogorongoro , with an optionally visit to the Olduvai Gorge museum – the cradle for humankind . Have your packed lunch and proceed to the camp / lodge enroute of game drive within Serengeti National Park. Serengeti is derived from Maasai word “Siringeti” meaning endless plain. It is one of the largest conservation area, a home to the big five, hundreds and hudreds of assorted mammal, reptiles and various species of birds. Evening enjoy your diner at the camp on full board basis.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Morning breakfast at the camp / lodge, depart for a full day game drive within the Serengeti National Park. Explore the park for any kill and other wildlife not spotted in the previous drives. In the evening return to the camp / lodge as you, enjoy the breathtaking sunsets on the savannah. Later on dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Depart early in the morning after breakfast to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Tanzania Cultural Tours take us to descend to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, home to more hundreds of mammals, including the endangered Black Rhinoceros, elephants, hippos, lions among others. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the crater as you do the game drive and not forgetting your picnic lunch too. In the evening return to the camp / lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Day 7: Karatu / Elephant Trekking Path

After breakfast, our Tanzania Cultural Tours take us away from the ‘jeep’ for a walking tour of the Great Rift Valley, accompanied by a local guide; visit the waterfall, through coffee plantations to arrive at the caves frequently visited by elephants supplement their diet with salts. Return to the camp for lunch and afternoon leisure. Later on, embark for the afternoon excursion of bicycle activities within the area, evening return to the camp / lodge for dinner and overnight stay on full board basis.

Day 8: Transfer

After breakfast depart to Arusha town, lunch and later on be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your international flight.
