Day 01: Nairobi Transfer
JAMBO! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, our Customer Care Representative will meet you and assist you with the transfer to your city hotel. Before checking in at your hotel, he will brief you on your program ahead and introduce the Driver Guide who will be with you throughout the safari.

Day 02: Nairobi Excursions
After breakfast, depart to Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage situated on the outskirts of Nairobi. At the orphanage, you will see the orphaned baby elephants as you interact with people who handle and care for them. Enjoy them as they are being fed. After the elephant orphanage, you will be taken to Giraffe centre a home to Rothschild giraffes. Enjoy the feeding of the giraffe, take selfies as well as kissing them. Proceed for lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens. After lunch, have a few minutes rest then proceed to Nairobi National Park for evening game drive before being transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03 & 04: Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast at the city hotel, drive north to the beautiful Samburu Reserve which along with Buffalo Springs & Shaba this area is commonly referred to ‘Samburu’. Arrive in time for lunch at the luxurious lodge/camp. Spend the afternoon discovering the unique wildlife of the reserve, which is famous for its elephants and lions. The reserve also hosts the unique species of the north – Samburu Five (Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich with bluish neck and thighs, long necked antelope Gerenuk, and the endangered Grevy Zebra). Return to the lodge. On your next day enjoy game viewing drives within the famous Samburu National Reserve.

Day 05: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart to the privately-owned 24,000 acre reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy where your drive ends and another adventure begins at your luxurious tented camp with magnificent views of Mt. Kenya. Enroute visit Nanyuki Spinners & Weavers a local women self-help group and a local school where you will get to understand the lives of the local people. Arrive for lunch followed by afternoon game viewing drive within the conservancy. One of only four private wildlife reserves in Kenya, your under canvas experience includes wildlife drives in search of the ‘Big Five’. Watch a parade of elephant, giraffe, zebra and impala come to drink at the camp’s floodlit waterhole and salt-lick. Optional activities abound, you may choose to go on a night drive in search of nocturnal species, go on a nature walk or join a rhino patrol with experienced armed rangers to find and monitor black rhino. During your stay here, you will also visit the 200-acre Chimpanzee sanctuary that has been set up here. Although chimps are not indigenous to Kenya, they found their home here as a result of civil war in Rwanda. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Aberdare National Park
Enjoy your breakfast at the camp, drive to Mweiga for lunch at Aberdare Country Club. After lunch the Club transport takes you into the Aberdares National Park and specifically to the Ark lodge. Every deck of the Ark overlooks the popular waterhole where occasionally the elusive bongo antelope can be seen. Set in the heart of the Aberdares National Park, The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife such as elephant, rhino, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive bongo or giant forest hog.

Day 07: Lake Nakuru National Park
Continue with your journey this morning as you drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park boasts a huge variety of wildlife, including leopard which is often found snoozing on the branches of the magnificent yellow-barked acacias, lion, buffalo, hippo, waterbuck, warthog, baboon, the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe only found in this park in Kenya, white rhino and the rare black rhino are protected here too.

Day 08 & 09: Masaai Mara National Reserve
Your journey now takes you to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve. Arrive in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive within Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have two more days of game viewing with all meals and overnight at your camp/lodge. The Masai Mara is arguably Kenya’s most popular game reserve. It is famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya. The film “Out of Africa” was made to a great extend in this sanctuary. There is a profusion of all types of wildlife including the big five. A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and assorted antelopes from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields from late June. The game reserve abounds with bird-life close to about four hundred and fifty two odd species have been recorded.

Day 10: Masai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi
After breakfast, depart to Nairobi through the town of Narok and the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival at Nairobi, have lunch and spend some time doing last minute shopping then later be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
