Kenya Excursions commence in the morning as you are picked up from you hotel and depart to Giraffe centre to feed the lovely giraffes and get to enjoy their kisses. Giraffe centre is a home to endangered Rothschild Giraffe which are cousins to the Masai ones that were rescued from the wild nurtured then re-introduced back. Your feeding of giraffe would not be complete without the presence of “African Express” – warthog as they join giraffe to feed. Later on, our Kenya excursions proceed to Elephant orphanage to view the baby elephants as they are also fed by the experts.

The elephant orphanage is only open to the public for an 1 hour from 1100H to 1200H. The orphanage is meant for rescued baby elephants from the wild. They are raised in the nursery and later on when they are grown, they are returned back to the natural habitat. Once the feeding of baby elephants is over, we depart to Mamba village a home to crocodiles. Tour their facility, thereafter enjoy you lunch at Mamba Village.

After lunch, Kenya Excursions leads you to Karen Blixen Museum – a branch of Kenya National Museums. For anyone with an interest in Karen Blixen’s book Out of Africa or the subsequent film, this museum is a must see. The house is now a National Museum, and is maintained for visitors in its original condition. Those who have read the book, or seen the film (which was filmed on location here) will recognize the house with its sprawling tropical garden and views of the nearby Ngong Hills. The house itself is furnished with a mixture of original decor and props from the 1985 film production. The grounds contain displays of farming equipment from the plantation. Enjoy the tour of the facility and thereafter be transferred back to your hotel as we culminate our Kenya Excursions Tours.
